Typing Lesson

I’ve been playing guitar for a while though I’m still trying to get the hang of Jazz. Last week we went over "Blue Bossa" and the week before that we went over "So What?". What’s a somewhat simple yet fun jazz tune I should ask him to show me today?

I suggest Lullaby of Birdland, Afternoon in Paris, When Sunny Gets Blue, How Insensitive, Scrapple From The Apple, Darn That Dream, Oleo, and All The Things You Are. Some of those are a little difficult to learn, like Scrapple, Afternoon, and Oleo, but great songs to have in your arsenal

Just started teaching guitar via Craigslist, and got a request to teach 2 women at the same time, for an hour. I’ve been doing 15 bucks an hour for one. Should it be 30?

I would charge between $15 and $25 for the combination./

People who do online lessons just give you a big list of lessons and tell you to learn guitar, i kinda want some order, would some kind of guitar lesson book do that for me?
I’ve been playing for 3 months and i feel like i kinda stopped moving foreward, making progress. It’s kind of annoying.

There are some great books.
Go to the music store and look through them. find one that looks good to you.
There are too many types of guitar playing for me to list books for all of them.

Hi i am curious to know from someone who has had a college taster day whether the lessons you do during the taster day are the lessons you will do when you start college properly. what i mean is are the teachers and students in your classes from the taster day the same when you start college or are the lessons not the same. Thanks.

It may depend on your school but generally you won’t have the same people in your class and may not have the same teacher. On a taster day classes tend to be organised alphabetically by name or by previous school but once college actually starts classes are timetabled so that everyone can do the classes they want to. Also some subjects have only 1 or 2 teachers so you may have them whatever people are in your class but for instance at my college there are 5 english teachers and you have two of them so you may or may not have the same one you had on the taster day. Sorry that was rather a long response!

I don’t join any sports or after school clubs but I do get straight As and I have guitar lesson and a part time job, and I do join the anime and orchestra club but that’s it, will I be able to put that on my collage application and still get accepted?

You can put all of that on your college (sp.) application. A job is always an acceptable substitute for extracurricular activities.
