My art teachers …
My art teachers taught mistakes needed to be erased and perfected. I would like to offer you an excercise in your class that all students don’t correct their mistakes and let the beauty of an accident become perfection. I was 7 or so when our art teacher showed us the different cultural pieces of art and how they were projected. Still sits with me today. Crazy, I know but it made me realize anything can be art. Take care. Theresa

Your class sounds …
Your class sounds like so much fun. Do you ever have music playing during class. Sometimes I myself get a lot of ideas and artistic inspiration when listening to music as I paint or draw. Sometimes the music helps spark or ignite creativity in me. Its a lot of fun.

Oh, sorry. I’ve …
Oh, sorry. I’ve only just realized that you already did this activity. I initially thought you were telling us an idea for tomorrow. ^_^
But, either way, it sounded like a very fun time for the children.

that sounds like a …
that sounds like a very good idea. but i think you should also give the students their choice of art medium. I love to create art, but i don’t feel that i can express myself as well through paint as i can through a simple pencil. Maybe provide them with a few options like watercolor, charcoal, pencil, acrylic paints (if they’re not too expensive), pastel, etc. This is a very good idea that you came up with. I like it.
